Before this I had installed the TomTom GPS software on a Pocket PC. It worked well to drive only about 1-3 wrong direction around 10k miles. Then I bought Garmin 760 was impossible to navigate with it. The first time I did, I was driving in the United States. Ho 7 (!) The wrong way with 2k miles. The other Garmin GPS, I have a friend of mine, and acted exactly the same. I think the Garmin software is badly written, written instructions are not the same voiceDirections, the street name as "bla-bla Hwy" does not correspond to the descriptions on Road Signs "RD # something" wrong direction, if two successive outputs (which appear to the right of exit to appear or late or not at all to all). I have overcome these problems when I again TomTom. The appearance of the bug back few/10k.
What's on TomTom 340, I have no problem to install on a windshield so many people have complained. I have the mountaindown, so maybe run into this problem when you do this often. What I like is that the power cord connects directly to the GPS as proprietor. This is annoying if you move out and connect the GPS in the mountains. Unless the GPS wrked well. I especially liked that it points to take the outgoing lines – which has really helped me a couple of times on a complicated intersection where several successive outputs.
